The Sturbridge Area Tourist Association has contracted with Choice Words/Chisolm & Co. to provide new content for its website. Redesigned to provide area visitors with information from nearly every member of the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce, the website will feature guides to recreation, retail, dining, lodging and special events throughout the towns surrounding Sturbridge. Included will be tips on locales slightly further afield for those who wish to use the Sturbridge area as a base for greater exploration of southern New England. The site is expected to be launched in late fall 2007.

Allison Chisolm, owner of Choice Words/Chisolm & Co., has been commissioned to research and write a biography of Charles Hill Morgan, founder of Morgan Construction Company and prolific inventor. Born in 1831 in Rochester, NY, Morgan grew up in Clinton, Mass., moved to Philadelphia to oversee a paper bag factory -- equipped with machines he invented together with several business partners -- and then returned to Worcester to begin a fruitful career as an engineer for rolling mill manufacturers. He founded Morgan Construction Company in 1888, a company still run by Morgan family members, now the fifth generation.
